Permit types

Residential Building Permit

Required for new residential construction, additions, and structural alterations in Provo.

Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) Permit

Required for construction of accessory dwelling units (basement apartments, detached ADUs) in Provo.

City offices are open Monday through Thursday only (7 AM - 6 PM) — closed Fridays.
